💭 ONE THING WE’RE THINKING ABOUT
“Not having time” for something often looks like this:
You decide you’re going to launch a YouTube channel and block off time to start. When the time comes, suddenly it seems like it’s a good time to clear out that doom closet. Maybe you planned a time to write a video script, but then your friend reaches out to get dinner, you’re suddenly free! What YouTube channel?
Fast forward two years, and you’re still talking about starting it.
This is not a you problem. It’s a prioritization problem. And the solution is more simple than you think. Now live on the blog!
Spoiler: There’s a flow chart!
⚡️ ONE THING WE’RE INSPIRED BY
Sahil Bloom’s ABC Goal System is an excellent framework to think about your days, you energy, and your effort levels.
For anything that you want to make progress on, you can execute at any of these three goal levels:
A Goal: Most ambitious, perfect case
B Goal: Middle ground, base case
C Goal: Minimum viable level, anything above zero compounds
On days when you feel great, you may hit your A Goal. On days when you feel okay (most days!), you hit your B Goal. On days when you feel bad, you hit your C Goal.
The ABC Goal System removes any intimidation or guilt: As long as you hit your C Goal, you're making forward progress.
Essentially, you can give yourself 3 different ways to succeed 😌
🎧 ONE THING WE’RE LISTENING TO
👀 ONE THING WE’RE OBSESSED WITH
With the holidays approaching, it can be hard to remember everything you’re ordering online — especially if you have a lot of people to shop for!
The Christmas Gift List Tracker is made by an indie developer & is a great way to keep track of everything from gift ideas, delivery status, and budget.
It’s branded for Christmas, but can be used for any type of gift tracking! MJ downloads it for the holiday season and it saves her ass every single year.
