💭 One Thing We’re Thinking About

Even if you’re not a sports person, we all love a good comeback story, because it’s always about overcoming resistance and finding success. You know the ones — Rocky, Remember the Titans, A League of Their Own.

As it turns out, the psychology behind how these comebacks happen has some very interesting parallels with what we know about focus, attention, and getting things done.

When faced with resistance, you have to find the momentum to get into a flow state.

It’s very easy to see flow happen in sports and creative activities, but we’ve discovered that it’s just as likely to show up for mundane activities like doing the dishes and answering emails — you just have to understand how to create it.

This is why we always talk about the power of flow state. Being in a flow state makes it easier to override mental resistance.

We developed the Flow State Formula to actually train ourselves for focus (yes, even you with ADHD, bc same — that’s why we made it lol). We’ve practiced this formula for years and it’s amazing how consistently it works and has trained us for flow.

👀 One Thing We’re Obsessed With

Anna may be trying to reduce her tech usage for the next 30 days, but that might be f*cked by this CUTE ASF word game??!

They release 1 new free puzzle everyday, so it’s not addictive! No ads. Satisfying haptics. Very delightful. We’re huge fans of little games around here.
